چکیده

Abstract This study was conducted to investigate the effect of dry kitchen waste meal (KW) as a partial replacement for maize on growth performance, nutrient digestibility and carcass characteristics broiler chickens. A total 160 chicks were used study. The randomly assigned four dietary treatment groups T1, T2, T3 T4 40 birds each with 10 per replicate in completely randomized design (CRD). lasted six weeks. Four experimental diets formulated KW replacing at levels 0%, 10%, 20% 30% representing respectively both starter finisher diets. results showed that daily feed intake significant difference among groups. Broilers fed highest average while those recorded least. Nutrients parameters such ash crude fiber significantly different across treatments. Therefore, can replace up broilers diet without any negative will be suitable feeding

Performance of Broiler Chickens Fed Two Varieties of Guinea Corn and Millets as Replacement for Maize

The study was carried out to evaluate the effects of complete replacement of maize with two varieties of guinea corn and two varieties of millets on the growth performance and nutrient retention in broiler chickens. Five isonitrogenous and isocaloric diets for the broiler starter (23.5% CP; 2800 kcal/ME) and finisher (21.5% CP; 2900 kcal/ME) phases were formulated. Diet 1 consisted on a maize b...

Effects of Irradiated Flaxseed on Performance, Carcass Characteristics, Blood Parameters, and Nutrient Digestibility in Broiler Chickens

The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of feeding electron irradiated flaxseed (FS) on performance, carcass characteristics, blood parameters, digesta viscosity, and nutrient digestibility in broiler chickens. In a 2 × 2 factorial arrangement, 320 day-old broiler chicks were randomly assigned to one of five experimental diets, each with four replicates containing 16 chicks e...

Nutrient digestibility and growth performance of pigs fed pearl millet as a replacement for corn.

Three experiments were conducted to determine the value of pearl millet grain, grown at either Purdue University or the University of Nebraska, as a substitute for corn in the diets of young pigs. In Exp. 1, 24 crossbred barrows, average initial weight of 20.7 kg, were used to evaluate nutrient digestibility of both sources of pearl millet compared with corn. Nitrogen digestibility was similar ...

Effect of the Replacement of Soybean Meal by Rubber Seed Meal on Growth, Economics and Carcass Characteristics of Broiler

The experiment was to study the effects of replacing soybean meal by rubber seed meal on growth, economics and carcass characteristics of broiler. A total of 150 day-old commercial broiler (Cobb-500) was reared for a period of 35 days. There were five treatments including T0 (without rubber seed meal), T1 (10% rubber seed meal), T2 (20% rubber seed meal), and T3 (30% rubber seed meal) and T4 (4...

Effects of corn source and exogenous enzymes on growth performance and nutrient digestibility in broiler chickens.

This study was conducted to investigate the effects of exogenous enzymes on growth performance, ileal digestible energy (IDE) and apparent ileal digestibility of CP and amino acids (AA) in broiler chickens fed corn-soy diets formulated using 3 different sources of corn (corn 1, corn 2, and corn 3). One-day-old male broiler chicks (n = 3,600) were allocated to 15 dietary treatments as 5 treatmen...
